JCVD is Back

Volvo wanted my attention – and they pulled the stunt of the century to make sure they fucking got it!

The mission – to show off their new Dynamic Steering System in all its glory.

But they weren’t happy to just titillate the engineers of this world with how smoothly their gadgets were working.

They wanted to knock the socks off anyone with a heartbeat while doing it as well.

So, here is what they did.

They dug up some old phonebooks and called in the original Muscles from Brussels.

That’s right. They got the Kickboxer himself back out of the box, dusted him off and asked him to do something absolutely mind blowing.

And hell yeah, he did!

As you can see in the pic, that’s Jean Claude van Damme himself.

Doing his trademark split  – on the side mirrors of two Volvo trucks.

Which are actually moving in perfect unison.

In reverse.

Spreading apart as they drive!

No hidden harness. No wires. No crafty camera angles. And no CGI.

Just, good old fashioned athleticism, and training.

(Ah yeah, and of course, that slick Dynamic Steering System.)

And remember, JCVD is 53 years old and showing the planet he still got it.

Now if you fail to be in absolute awe of this stunt, you’re either catatonic or dead.

Because that’s one definite badass right there.
