A BodyForge Shoutout To The One and Only Victoria Ainis

I am frequently asked how I define success.

Success is a very subjective topic. It means different things to different folks.

I have developed and evolved my own take on it, after more than two decades of working with people from all walks of life.

From millionaires, to top level athletes, to Hollywood denizens as well as “normal” people hailing from everyday life, I have been blessed to be able to observe and learn how an incredibly varied range of individuals view the world and the things around them.

Success included.

Yes, it’s been a hell of a trip so far, and I truly believe the best is yet to come.

And these interactions and observations have given me much insight and have helped me formulate my own view of what success really means to me personally.

 

Victoria’s Story

I confess Victoria Ainis has been on my mind a lot in the last couple of days.

Her untimely demise has highlighted the importance of savouring every moment of our lives.

Of using every second of every day to give as much love as we can to those who need it most.

And to shine a light to illuminate the way for others who may be in the darkness.

We never know how much time we are given.

Every second we have is a gift.

A gift we sometimes take far too lightly.

In Victoria’s case, she didn’t waste any time.

She stomped out, grabbed life by the lapels and shook it. HARD.

How do I know this?

Even if I didn’t know the girl, I have seen firsthand an overwhelming outpouring of love from all the people whose hearts she touched in her short life.

I have felt their sorrow at her loss, and I have seen how much she meant to them.

Most have shared with us a little moment where Victoria touched their lives and made them feel amazing.

How, in her own special way, she was their very own delightful ray of sunshine.

It’s beautiful to see what a magnificent force of nature Victoria was.

She was one who made a difference.

She brought light into the lives of so many.

She gave so much love…and was much loved in return.

May we be all so blessed.

I will always remember how easy it was to make you laugh and how much you enjoyed me teasing you and picking on you.

Thank you for all the moments you shared with us, and all the love you poured into our hearts.

For all these reasons, you embody the qualities of my own definition of success.
